SEEK no further for a reliable and convenient safe solution as G7 Safety Lockers has opened its doors at Straits Quay, Penang. Being the first Safe Store Auto (SSA) in the Southeast Asia, it allows clients to access their lockers round the clock.

“We offer the optimal solution to keep your valuables and vital documents safe and secure, accessible by customers 24 hours a day. “The deposit lockers here are available in two sizes, the smaller one measuring 49mm x 300mm x 400mm and the larger one measuring 186mm x 300mm x 400mm,” said G7 Safety Lockers director Jim Ching, adding that the boxes featured a dual control locking mechanism with unique keys and strict protocols.

“The SSA is secured with biometrics, intrusion alarm and CCTVs linked to the police. “It is tested and conform to world standards. The deposit lockers’ standard is at grade seven which can even withstand explosions,” he said during the outlet’s opening ceremony recently. Gunnebo Asia Pacific and China regional director William Mouat who was also present, said SSA Gunnebo had installed more than 600 SSAs around the world, noting that the outlet in Penang was the first in Malaysia.

“The SSA is secured by a pre-built Central European Norm (CEN) graded vault with biometrics and passwords to access the boxes. “It is manufactured by Gunnebo’s factory in Markersdorf, Germany.

“The vault protecting the safe deposit boxes is of European CEN standard,” Mouat said. Ching said that he planned to set up another outlet in Bangsar soon. The charges are RM2,400 for the small lockers and RM4,200 for the larger ones, inclusive of insurance.
